Need to get certified for a trip and short on time?
PADI Open Water Course - Out Going Referral - Private pool session
for 1 or 2 students
The PADI Open Water Course is modular with a Classroom portion, a Pool Portion and Open Water portion. It is possible to complete the classroom and pool portion here then complete the Open Water portion at another PADI facility at your traveling destination.
We suggest if you have the time and if you live locally we recommend that you take the full course with Aquanautics Dive instead of the Out Going Referral method. The reason is that the local diving is more readily available after you become certified and training in condions at your travel desitination may not be the same as the conditions here. We dive in thicker wetsuits than in warmer waters and our conditions are sometimes more challenging. So when you learn how to dive here almost all of the warmer destinations are easier to dive. When you learn how to dive there you are not necessarily prepared to dive here. The other reason is sometimes resorts charge as much for their portion of the class as we do for the entire class. So check with them before you decide if you have the time.
Now that you have our recommendation if you do wish to do an Out Going Referral we are happy to help you. Please inform us if you will be diving locally in the future or if you will only be diving in warm water locations so we can design the program to fit your needs. We also recommend if you have time that you join one of our regularly scheduled classes at a slower pace with a group for reduced cost.
Make sure you communicate with us on what available dates you have so that we can confirm we have an available instructor for those dates before you sign up (email@example.com). When we get confirmation of you signing up for the class we will contact you by email and send you your link to start your classroom work as soon as we can. So when your class starts you could possibly have alread done your homework.
This price includes Course Tuition, Certification Fee, student materials and eLearning Program. It does not include personal gear which must be purchased separately to take the class. This personal gear is mask, fins, snorkel, boots, gloves, signaling devices and some other small accessories which are for sale at a discount once you are registered for a class. As part of the class we counsel you on equipment features and benefits in a variety of price ranges and categories so that you can make an educated decision on gear that meets your desires. In addition to your personal gear you will need to pick up your rental gear which is wetsuit, tank, BCD, regulator w/computer, weights, and hood. Rental package is $70+tax for duration of the class. The rental fee maybe reduced if the pool session is completed in one day with the gear promptly returned.
