Some things to mention about our philosophy of beginning Scuba Classes:

This is your class not ours. Our goal is to provide you with the a safe and fun experience. The purpose is to provide you with the skills and activities that will both give you the ability and desire to keep enjoying it safely. Everyone gets into scuba for a variety of reasons so we have no rule as to this must be this way for everyone. We teach 10 yr olds, grandmothers, and everyone inbetween. Some places advertise that beach diving is not safe and is only done by some instructors as it is cheaper. We heartly disagree. There is always a reasonable amount of risk with all diving activities. We always try to do a beach dive when the conditions are cooperating as it is something that is readily available to us in Southern California and it requires different entry and exit techiques than are used off of a boat. The only place to learn these techniques are at the beach. We do not require beach diving but we encourage it greatly. We acknowledge that beach diving is not for everyone. But we submit that if you only learn how to dive off of Casino Pt by walking down the stairs, then that is the only place you know how to dive. There is nothing wrong with that but it does not prepare you for shore diving or boat diving in the future. We recommend that you try to gain experience in all these conditions bo make you a more confident if you do not receive this training in your beginning class. The best way is to do these dives under the direction of an instructor to learn these techniques.

We have classes forming all the time, pool and ocean sessions are on the week ends.
Start your adventure today. Lets go make some bubbles.
