Directions: There are several ways to get there. Here is one way. Take the 405 fwy south from the San Fernando Valley. Take the Rosecrans Ave exit (West), turn right (West). A few blocks turn left on Aviation by the Train Bridge (South). Take Aviation all the way until it ends at PCH(Sepulveda). Turn left South. Stay on Sepulveda Blvd south approximately 1 mile until you see the large “KING HARBOR – REDONDO BEACH” sign on the right. Under the sign turn right at “Catalina Ave.” Stay on Catalina Ave a mile or two until you get to Torrance Blvd. At Torrance Blvd turn right. You will have a turn around loop right by the water. About ¾’s of the way around the loop there is a road that runs along the beach(uphill), take it (Harbor Rd).
At the very top there are stairs this is where we will meet. Park as close as you can to the stairs. There is parking all along the road and a big lot at the top. (Bring a roll of quarters for the parking meter.) There are restrooms and showers available.
