Aquanautics Dive, Inc. was established in 2008 to provide top quality Scuba Diving Instruction with high quality equipment and services in Southern California. Aquanautics Dive, Inc. is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center offering a full spectrum of Scuba Diving Instruction from beginning to professional courses. Every effort is made to make your diving experiences safe and fun! Our hope is to share our passion for the underwater world. We are a small Dive Shop with big menu of classes, services, and experiences. We have both group and private instruction available. We also carry top quality equipment. It is our mission to be more than what the average dive shop has to offer and become an elite dive facility. We became a PADI 5 Star Dive Center in the summer of 2010 which expands our menu of leadership level classes and shows our growth and credibility as a strong resource in the dive community. We became a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center in March of 2011. This means we not you only teach people how to dive but it means we teach the people, that teach the people, that teach the people how to dive. As a DAN Training Center with a DAN Examiner on staff means as dive safety training facility, we teach the people, that teach the people, that teach the people how to respond in dive accidents. You can't ask for much more in terms of credentials, but more important to us is our students experiences. Ask them, check reviews, come in and talk to us.
Our staff provides Professional Scuba Diving Instruction through all recreational levels and leadership levels. We are experienced divers with a great passion for the Southern California Shore Dives as well as the Channel Islands. We are based in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California USA. We believe in teaching beach diving as well as boat diving. Beach diving is something not to be missed as it makes the underwater world more accessible and can be done safely with the training in the proper techniques. Learning how to beach dive makes it easier to get in the water and dive more frequently. In the Los Angeles area we have great shore and island enviroments each with a wide variety of aquatic life from the colorful Garibaldi to Giant Sea Bass. We have beautiful Kelp Forests and the individual Channel Islands each have there own variety of creatures and features.

We have certified Air Fills, Nitrox, and Tech Gasses available for qualified divers. We have equipment rentals and service.

In 2008, after years of Instructing and teaching others to become instructors Jeff founded Aquanautics Dive, Inc.. He saw the need for a dive center in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles that could provide a variety courses at all levels with the flexibility to meet the customers needs. An avid beach diver who loves Southern California shore dives as well as the Channel Islands. Jeff dives year round and wants to create and enviroment where others can experience the passion for the things below sea level for themselves.

There is hardly anyone who can get more excited about diving, whether it is with a student or a fellow experienced diver. Rod is always enthusiastic about new adventures and loves sharing dive stories with other divers. His energy in the classroom and his emphasis on safety first creates an ideal environment for students, and students genuinely call Rod their friend after completing a course with him. First certified in 1991 he has unique stories to tell about all of his adventures. Rod recently led a group of divers over two years where they returned from bringing a boat from Florida through the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Latin America going through the Panama Canal and then up the west coast of the Americas. They logged over 300 dives on that trip alone. Rod usually spends his free time around the water, either boating or enjoying the beach with friends.

Andrew is a PADI Divemaster as well as an EFR Instructor. He is also a DAN instructor for most of the DAN Safety Courses. He also is certified in several specialties and has taken the steps to make himself a knowledgeable, safe, and skilled diver beyond the average divemaster. He is a skilled diver and a real passion for being underwater and working with other divers.

Brien waited until 2007 to turn pro, he’s been a PADI Open Water diver since 1986. Brien holds numerous dive specialties. He has enjoyed diving in many parts of the world, but considers his home waters in Southern California to be among the best.
